This document contains installation, registration, copyright, and liability 
information for Setup Manager version 2.0.  On-line information on how to 
use the product is provided with CESETUP.HLP, which is accessable from 
within the Setup Manager application.

Setup Manager is a tool that you can use to quickly create professional
setup routines for your applications.  You can use Setup Manager regardless
of which tools or languages you have used to develop your application.

The following files should be contained within CESETUP.ZIP:
   README.TXT    This file
   SETUP.ZIP     Zipped files necessary to install Setup Manager

INSTALLATION:

We have created a setup procedure that minimizes the amount of 
data files you need to download (currently about 285 Kb).

Follow these steps to install Setup Manager:
   
  1. Create a directory C:\CESETUP
  2. Unzip the SETUP.ZIP files into this directory.
  3. Run SETUP.EXE from the directory containing the unzipped files.
  4. Follow the instructions of Setup.
     
     ** IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE DIRECTORY CHOSEN IN SETUP.EXE ** 
     ** IS IDENTICAL TO THE DIRECTORY CHOSEN IN STEP 1.        **

  5. To save disk space, delete all the files in C:\CESETUP except
     the following:

	CESETUP.EXE
	CESETUP.HLP
	COMPRESS.EXE
	SETUP.EXE
	SETUP.LST
	SETUP1.DOC
	SETUP1.EX_
	SETUP1.INF
	SETUPKIT.DL_


IMPORTANT:
=========     
     You will not be able to run SETUP.EXE if you do not have
     VBRUN300.DLL located in your Windwos\System directory.  We
     have made this presumption to limit the amount of data you
     needed to download.  VBRUN300.DLL is available on CompuServe
     and also on the Internet.

REGISTRATION:

  Setup Manager is Shareware.  The unregistered version is NOT crippled
  in any way; the only difference between the two versions is that the 
  unregistered version displays a dialog at runtime.  If you find this
  application useful and use it for your applications, you should 
  register it.  We appreciate your support.

  You can register Setup Manager by sending $95 and your address to the
  address below. If you are a CompuServe member, you can register this 
  in the Software Registration forum (GO SWREG) for $95.  The SWREG ID
  is 4518.

  The commercial version of Setup Manager that includes a file date
  and time stamper, a disk serialization utility, and source code for 
  the bootstrap file, SETUP1.EXE.  The commercial version is available
  for $195.  If you are a registered user, you can upgrade to the 
  commercial version for $105.

  There are no royalties or runtime fees for the Setup routines created
  by Setup Manager.
